    Last year's team didn't suck until October. This team has pretty much sucked from the get-go. Last year's team had a relevant bullpen. This year's team has no bullpen whatsoever. Marmol will settle down eventually, I think. Good Marmol and Guzman are great seventh and eighth inning guys and Gregg is an acceptable closer. With the addition of Marshall, the bullpen could become pretty good. That would be assuming that Lou uses Marshall correctly and not in a [expletive] LOOGY way.

    This is a little late, but I really think Lou needs to go. His in-game moves are just flat-out awful. He isn't offering much out of game, either, it seems.

    Why? It might actually get us an ok live arm from A ball that way. And it's not Rich's fault that there was no spot here. Yeah, Cubs fans should be rooting for him to do well since it'll improve the return we get for him. I've seen people talk about getting "bothing at all," and that's not the case. If he has a good year this year, I wonder what type of prospect we'd be looking at. I am pretty sure that when the trade was announced, we were told that how Rich Hill performed would not change the PTBNL. The group of players that could be selected have already been determined. I could be misremembering, though.

    You can be a really good pitcher with 2 pitches, which Hill proved in 2007. I'm sick of this "You can't be good with only 2 pitches as a starter" stuff. all hill needs to be a very good pitcher is good control Rich Harden throws two pitches and he is a very good pitcher

    Zack Asack was kicked off Duke's team. He started at QB his freshman year, then got suspended for a year for plagarism (and kicked out of Duke for that year). Thaddeus Lewis stole his job and Asack had been the backup the last two years. He was trying to transition to safety for his senior year. Reports are saying that Asack cheated again to get kicked out.
