The Phillies lineup without Rollins reminds me of the Atros lineup. A very solid heart of the lineup surrounded by a bunch of garbage. plus victorino isn't in there either

Jeff has only touched his potential and it'd be unwise of you to think that at worst, he'll only be a "serviceable" Major Leaguer. You can chalk it up to Jeff's football background but he's the hardest working Minor Leaguer out there, including position players. Combine his work ethic and mental make up with his raw abilities and I wouldn't put anything past Jeff. I wouldn't ride him off because of his K/9. This is a big year for Jeff no doubt. sharkfan50 = Jeff Smardzija that would make a lot of sense -

He was new to a league, and had the best year of his career. Hes nowhere near a number 2, and hes been getting hit badly. So, just to clarify, you think the Cubs are stupid for making a knee jerk reaction based on a couple starts with Hill but are you are now doing the same thing with Lilly? No Im saying its ignorant to do it with Hill, but if you are going to do it with Hill, then its only fair to do it with Lilly. Id be more concerned with a pitcher getting absolutely knocked around every start, then a pitcher having problems throwing strikes. so, this is a serious thread?

No, but I did take advantage of some people panicking early to pick up somebody like Myers from free agency. Also somebody really panicked and dropped Granderson because my league has no DL spot, and he thought he could pick him back up in a week or two before he came back. I also made a trade to get Martin and Fielder (for Vlad, Carlos Pena, and Soto). In shallow leagues like this, I like to make 3 for 2 type trades to get better starters because I know I can find talent in free agency. they seriously dropped Granderson because hes on the 15 day DL?
