He was good once you know. Hasn't been good for years. And once we leave town, he will proceed to suck donkey balls as per usual. That sounds dangerous..........
Well, he's right, if we didn't have Jones in either RF or CF, there would be no one there to catch the flyballs. I mean, Soriano's fast, but he's not that fast. :D That's on way of looking at it
I was in Des Moines Saturday night for a Iowa Stars hockey game and spent several hours at El Bait Shop and High Life and had a great time. High Life is fantastic - straight out of the 70's - shag carpet and everything
Agreed put a fork in Wood he is done................. the good news is Fukudome is on pace to smash every single season hittling record in the book. He is on pace for 162 homers and 486 RBI's - that beats Hack Wilson by almost 300 RBI's :yahoo:
My reaction exactly. Regardless, I'm not drafting him in the first two rounds now, maybe not even first three. I heard a surgeon on XM today talking about it - it has little or no impact on his batting. Only affects his throwing - i would be running anytime he gets the ball in his hand this year.
I just happened to miss that game and recorded it for when I get home so I have been watching that game over and over all season long waiting for the new season to start. Hah. I've told this story a million times but I was on I-55 northbound driving back to my parents because I was going to the game the next day (which they lost, of course). My girlfriend was asleep in the passenger seat and I was listening to the game on the radio. When Aramis hit that ball, I screamed so loud that she shot up because she thought something was wrong. This emoticon is a perfect representation of what I did when he hit that: :yahoo: I was going north on US 61 by myself and when he hit it I started honking my car horn like crazy. I got some strange looks
