The Cubs got Mark Patircks stay hot "Bowa Style" on XM's Baseball This Morning. Both Patrick and Buck Martinez could not figure out for the life of them why the Cubs would do this so we are not the only ones going WT*?? -
At the very worst they'll get to the pen earlier and get rid of a good pitcher Unless they have a manager that played in the early 70's and thinks a pitcher should go the distance no matter how old he is. We used to have a manager like that................ PS Who didn't see that this was a bad matchup like last week????...........Besides Lou I mean

He is hanging out in Iowa for the time being. You know cause we corrected all these things with him this spring. Those cubs coaches sure are perfectionists. When they get through with Hill, he's gonna be Walter Johnson! Oh great.............. Johnson hasn't been good in years.................... ;)

Isn't that what your name used to be? play pie or something? yes maybe at this point you should change it back to play pie Maybe you didn't get the memo, but Johnson "brings energy" to the team. Plus he chokes up a lot on the bat. And Reed can grow an amazing goatee and hes white And he made one awesome catch which will make everyone assume he's a terrific defense CF. Did you ever see that great flip play Derek Jeter made? He is the most awesomest!!!

Glad you saw that too -- I thought I was going nuts That was crazy... What happened? After the 0-1 pitch, FOX had "Cubs home run" come up and the score changed to 6-0. They changed it back after 5 seconds or so and the next pitch Fontenot went deep. Maybe just maybe the game being orchestrated like a pro wrestling match.......... did you ever think of that? :D

there's just no proof that he's been bad. he's walked a lot of guys, but he's been rather good. No I'm sure what he just did was bad no, i'm sure his .671 OPS against says he's been good. I don't disagree with that I'm just saying he had no idea where the ball was going tonight. Even the K he had he missed Soto's target by a couple of feet

I was going to post this as well - I thought I heard Len say it on the broadcast Friday but I couldn't believe it.I thought I heard right at 4 pitches per pa.................... In those wonderful Dusty days I think we used to average 4 pitches per inning

A lot of us cut Dusty a ton of slack in 2003, but then saw the error of our ways. And Votto is the exception, not the rule when it comes to Dusty. Oh, he'll end up hating Dusty. If you go back through my posts over my tenure here, you can see my transformation from one who always tried to give Dusty the benefit of the doubt when no one else would to wanting him fired from Chicago via cannon. If you are an informed and perceptive fan, you literally can't deal with him for very long without nearly losing your mind.
