  1. I'm not surprised that our impatient team is struggling against Beuhrle.
  2. Aside from this being his first year in the AL his struggles this year makes no sense. He's been an 800 ops plus player every year of his career and this year he looks like crap. Maybe his appendix housed all of his power.
  3. What's amazing is that Campana actually has even less power than Pierre. It's seemingly impossible. From what I've seen Campana had 2 home runs in college and 0 in the Minors. I don't think I've ever seen that little amount of power from a pro ball player. I've never really looked that closely but that seems incredibly surprising to me.
  4. Apparently he had three with the Cubs. I don't remember any of those.
  5. I don't see the Cubs being second to the White Sox in terms of popularity anytime soon. That statement makes no sense to me.
  6. I saw Trout play a bunch of times in Cedar Rapids so I'm going to take him.
  7. Yeah. The guy got a raw deal, but it's a pretty unique story in the way everything played out. About the only other thing I can think of in baseball that's similar is the kid who screwed over the Orioles with the home run catch. That kid was responsible for a key homerun in a playoff game. Bartman interfered with a ball in foul play that Moises Alou, despite his temper tantrum, probably wasn't going to catch. If Alex Gonzalez doesn't choke, Bartman is a non story. Yet somehow nobody remembers Gonzalez. I do. If I ever see Alex Gonzalez cross the street in front of my car, I'll probably brake, but only before giving serious consideration to flooring the gas. I'm pretty sure I'd have no idea what Alex Gonzalez looks like.
  8. Putting money into the Minor Leagues tells me that he is the opposite of bad.
  9. Yeah, shut up about bunting there you idiots.
  10. Rivera is getting a lot of the plate. We can do this. A Sotobomb for the win would be sweet.
  11. I wish Buck was correct in saying that it was tied.
  12. Sweet, we only have to score two runs on one of the best relievers of all time. We got this.
  13. That sucked, oh well a comeback against Mariano Rivera is more fun than a comeback against David Robertson.
  14. That ball sure looked good off the bat though. He really is on pace to duplicate his 2009 numbers though. Off the bat I thought it was in the corner for extra bases.
  15. I hope he hangs one like he did twice to Soriano.
  16. We make the best teams in the AL East's defenses fall apart apparently.
  17. McCarver really is the king of stupid facts that nobody really gives a crap about.
