  1. Not a great first quarter but the defense is still battling.
  2. Yay, a win. Hopefully the knuckleball isn't working and we can take the series in a slug fest.
  3. The best moment involved the Cubs screwing up running the bases, Barney hit a sac fly to left with the bases loaded. The guy on third didn't go but the guy on second did. The Varitek ended up throwing it over whoever was playing third and two runs scored. The guy in left field then had a throwing error at the plate and the runner got to third.
  4. Good call. Just jump ahead, don't bother with the tie. That's what I meant. :D
  5. A lot of me thinks they still won't tie it up.
  6. A throwback clutch Aramabomb would be sweet.
  7. The game just got kind of interesting.
  8. I had no idea Rich Hill was with Boston.
  9. Dallas has just be phenomenal once the playoffs started.
  10. Yeah, I'm not a fan of hitting anyone in this line up and giving them a free base.
  11. It's hard to compete where your starters are mostly Iowa Cubs pitchers.
  12. It's nice when your team really hasn't had any kind of a hot streak and you are still in the race. Then again, I don't really see how this team is going to pull off a hot streak.
  13. Definitely an American League style game tonight.
  14. Every time I get even a twinge of excitement for this team this happens. Stupid Cubs.
  15. I always enjoy beating the Marlins, I still hold a grudge.
  16. Deng was not the problem on offense. He was one of them. Everyone shot like garbage tonight, Deng included. Agreed. Which is why I'm not worked up over this. I'm let down, sure, but the Bulls still held the Heat to a very beatable 85. Just try not to shoot a brutal .341 again, boys. I'll be very surprised if the Bulls don't return the favor and take one of the games in Miami. That's my thought, we are still playing pretty good defense and teams just don't shoot 34% all too often. As long as they keep playing strong D, which I think they will, they will be fine.
  17. That's not what happened at all though. They shot a higher percentage than we did in game 1. The Heat shot a higher % in both games and should have won both games imo. The Bulls had many many lucky breaks in Game 1. We cant rely on luck if we're going to win 4 games against the Heat. The Bulls must shoot a higher % to win the series. What lucky breaks did they get though?
  18. That's not what happened at all though. They shot a higher percentage than we did in game 1.
  19. 1-1 series, [expletive] we had a huge chance to take a big lead in this series and we flat out chocked tonight. The good news is our offense likely won't shoot like this again, the free throw shooting probably won't be as poor and you would think Rose won't be as bad either. I just don't like that we now have lost home court advantage.
  20. Asik is just a wall by the hoop but we have to score some points some how.
  21. I miss when Korver made shots.
