  1. Oh God, this line up is awesome.
  2. Scal's in, we must up by 30. Oh wait...
  3. Syracuse goes down.
  4. The next 3 of 4 games are pretty much guaranteed wins and they can beat Indiana without Rose too. Even if they aren't wins, I'm ok with sacrificing a few regular season wins for the health of Rose.
  5. The dude shrugged off child molestation/rape accusations. I think it's ok if people shrug off his death or even make light of it if that's your thing (it's not something I feel comfortable doing but that's just me.)
  6. Boston won one and you have to think Miami will though. Plus Amere and Anthony don't play defense that well.
  7. Knicks about to go down too. To the Bucks at home. Awesome.
  8. In a quarter where Mike James, Scalabrine and Jimmy Butler played significant minutes we outscored them by 15 (granted, I didn't really pay much attention to who the Cavs were resting).
  9. That and the ball might go to his chest when he dribbles.
  10. Mike James in. This game rules.
  11. Rest everyone in the 4th.
  12. So, the offense is better without Rose.
  13. As long as he heels and is pain free before the playoffs there are worse things then our best player getting a good amount of rest.
  14. I feel like I'd be more interested in the Ravens if they were still the Browns.
  15. One of my roommates had the Bash Brothers one up in our apartment just a few years ago when I was in college. I have no idea where he found it.
  16. If this statement is backed up with anything (I would assume it is because you usually have good support for your statements) that would pretty much diffuse the importance of road wins. I would assume that good teams win on the road more often because they are good rather then road wins make a good team though that's just a guess.
  17. Not counting a win, or at least weakening its value significantly because it took place at home is dumb. They are still playing a basketball game on a basketball court with basketball court. Beating a good team is tough regardless of location and while home court advantage seems to mean a lot in college basketball I still think it's overstated.
  18. Purdue fans like to boo for no reason. It's kind of annoying. Also, I still can't believe this team lost to [expletive] Campbell.
  19. sarcasm? Are they even a tourny team? RPI 51, only top 100 win was at home against Texas (next best was #103 Iowa). Losses to Drake, Michigan, Northern Iowa, Missouri, Kansas. Plenty of time to build a tournament resume in a solid league, but they're certainly not there yet. Kind of my thoughts.
  20. sarcasm? Are they even a tourny team?
  21. They're certainly not top 10 good. I hope they finish undefeated to see how high they climb in the polls, and to see what the committee does with them. They're currently sitting at an RPI of 28, which I have trouble seeing go much higher. I'd probably give them a 5-6 seed if they went undefeated, and an 8-9 if they went in with a loss. That 1996 Princeton team that came into the tournament 25-1 got a 5 seed. The 2006 GW team that came into the tournament 26-1 got an 8 seed. The Ohio Valley is terrible, so Murray State's best win of the year is likely either the Memphis game or whoever they play in the Bracket Busters matchup. Could end up undefeated without playing a single tournament team on the year. Following up with this, at this point it looks like Murray State's opponent in the Bracket Busters game will be either St. Mary's or Wichita State (Murray State is one of the home teams, and St. Mary's/Wichita State are by far the best road teams in the list, since Gonzaga/BYU/Belmont/Harvard aren't participating and VCU/Creighton/Butler/Cleveland State/Milwaukee are also home teams). I'm not sure a home win against one of those two is any better than a road win at Memphis, certainly not the kind of thing that's going to bump them up to a top 4 seed if they weren't considered there earlier. I saw that they beat Alaska Anchorage by 2, granted it was in Alaska in that tournament but it's hard to justify a high seed with a result like that, IMO.
  22. Yeah, but that scenario isn't as fun as mine.
  23. Is Boston going to consider tanking the season so they can get a good lottery pick soon?
