I feel like we're going to sweep this one. Let's score some damn runs though. -
The first three that Kobe took to try to tie, I don't think Jordan shoots. I think he goes to the hoop and cuts the game to one or gets the bucket and a foul. On a slightly related note, aside from the shoulder shrug game, does Jordan have any big time three point shots? Just kind of curious but I can't really think of any big time threes he hit.

Play defense like that for the next two games and they'll win the series. Just wish we had some offense

This has been exciting for a low scoring game. I like low scoring games like this, the teams aren't shooting the best but it's because there is a man in every guys face when he shoots and the paint is being shut down on each side of the court. The defense has been great (granted some of that is because we don't have any one who can play offense but still)

If they win this they might as well win the series because a win would give me hope and losing in a game 6 or 7 would be disappointing where I was just accepting the inevitable loss tonight.

oh you're right, our worst reliever came into a tight game and immediately gave up two BBs, I beg for Dale's forgiveness. And then? a ball was hit hard that luckily went right to a fielder. You honestly think this was the best spot to let marmol work through his [expletive]? The (lucky) result doesn't justify the bad decision. Would you rather we waited for the first 6 run lead or deficit we run into? Letting Marmol sit in the pen not pitching isn't going to accomplish anything. Chances are, with our offense and pitching there aren't going to be too many blowouts you would think (at least that's the way things have gone) so he's going to have to pitch in close games if he's going to pitch.

Also, the Brewers would be tied with us if they lose, which is likely as they are down 5. Moving up those standings :D

Haven't met a lot of Sox fans have you? I have and they are usually annoying, but most of the Cubs (or a majority of baseball) fans I know are just as annoying. -
Made him throw some pitches at least. About as positive of an inning that you can have when you go down in order I think.

I've been watching the White Sox a bit recently and I've realized that I don't really cheer against them because they are a rival or whatever you want to call them, but because of Hawk and Steve. -
Yet again, I started to turn the game on MLB.tv only to remember I can't get it at work because I'm on the Illinois side of the river. got to love archaic blackout rules For sure. If you pay a premium to MLB for access, you should be able to watch any broadcast. I won't buy mlb.tv because of the blackout rules. Most of the teams I'd have interest in watching would be blacked out. I got it in 04, at the end of the season when we were in the wild card hunt and I liked it aside from the stupid blackout rules.
