So far every series is going against my rooting interests except the Reds and Giants, which was looking bad a couple of days ago. Yankees-Tigers and Reds-Cardinals was the worst LCS I could imagine. Baseball is the only sport that actively taunts me as a Cubs fan almost every single year. I can handle the losing, I picked the Cubs after all. But why do the teams I dislike win so often?
It's weird that the trend in sports right now is to go back to one of your old logos. Not that I mind it, in fact I like pretty much every team who has done so's decision, to go back to their old logo (I really like the Blue Jay's new/old unis) but it still is kind of weird.
Feels like the Yankees always make a pitcher work. A lot of their games I watch, the pitcher gets outs early but throw a lot of pitches until, eventually, they break through with a big inning. I'd it, if they weren't the Yankees.
I'm starting to wonder if Notre Dame doesn't have an outside shot at the championship game. They still have 3 tough games but their defense is very, very good. Not sure if I trust their QB situation.
