Since we won't win for awhile I really, really, really want the A's to win one while we are still rebuilding.

I don't think LeBron gets enough credit, with the meatballs at least, for the Cavs teams he turned into one of the best in the East.

The NBA is definitely my second favorite league behind MLB so I'm pretty excited. Rose's injury tempers my excitement a bit but it's good to have basketball back. The first few games are favorable for the Bulls so they have a good shot to get off to a good start.

I think both perspectives are flawed here. If you beat a team early in the season who was ranked high but they finish 6-6 or something, that team was never that good, they were overrated. On the other hand, if Oklahoma or Stanford hadn't lost to Notre Dame, they would probably be in the top-10 so counting that win as such is fine.

I don't think they will either. Actually, how the hell are they 5th aside from the SEC thing? They barely beat Towson and Auburn.

Notre Dame has played the toughest schedule. They've beat good teams on the road and have played BCS/BCS level schools every week this year aside from Navy. The only real knock against them is that Purdue took them to the brink (though they did take Ohio State to OT as well) and they don't score 40 points a game. What their defense has done though is just as impressive as the amount of points that K-State and Oregon can put up.

I'm always impressed with how few players seem to realize that you can't score there.

That's my second most desirable title game. I'd love to see what Oregon's offense could do against Alabama's defense. I really think this is Oregon's best offense under Kelly and that's saying something, then again, that could just be a product of a less than stellar schedule. We'll see in the coming weeks.

I don't feel like the title game is ever that anticipated (I assume that's what he would mean by biggest title game as that distinction doesn't quite make sense to me.) and that probably has to do with the fact that it's about a month or so after the season. I do feel like the USC vs Texas game was the only one that I remember being that hyped up.

I bet they get to No. 3 this week. But Oregon will jump them in the next few weeks if they continue to win since they have a tougher remaining schedule (both have @USC but Oregon also has vs. Stanford and @Oregon St plus the Pac-12 title game). I have a feeling Oregon is going to get beat one of those games for some reason. That may just be because I'm on the Notre Dame bandwagon though.

Does Notre Dame get to three? This has to be one of the better title game races. I feel like every other time there are a bunch of teams in the mix it's because they have 1 or sometimes 2 losses.

The odds of getting that many wrong have to be similar to/the same as getting that many right so I would just pretend that's what happened and celebrate.

I'm probably pulling for Detroit since they haven't won it in a while but I really just hope that we get 7 one run games and that it's a fun World Series.

Cubs and Cards are tied with 0 post-Theo titles and that matters....too me only likely but still, it matters.

Out of curiosity I checked the spread and it's at 45.5. They might beat that at the end of the first quarter.
