    Playoff baseball TV broadcasts have been awful for quite some time. As much as I can't stomach Joe Buck, I much prefer FOX to all the other broadcast options we've had in the postseason. I just want them on channels I have.

    There was a lot of shitty officiating that last drive.

    The intensity I felt during the playoffs didn't really go away during that one. The penalty kill look really shitty until the last one. Oh well, got 81 games to fix that. We still look really good at this sport.

    After reading the rule book I'd say the Badgers got screwed. Hard for me to get too upset about that though.

    I keep looking at the standings and then I tell my self that 10 games back is doable or 11 games back is doable, then I get a little excited and then stupid things happen like the Cubs bullpen or Homer Bailey throwing a no hitter.

    I find it hard to get too into baseball until September when the Cubs are bad. It's hard for me to get into individual baseball games during the regular season since a single game doesn't really mean much. In order to really enjoy the beauty of a season I feel like you have to follow a team for an entire season. This has always been the case though. I kind of miss steroid era baseball and the lack of runs probably drives people away that and since the Cubs aren't good, and haven't been for awhile and since the Red Sox have won twice now, there really isn't a story line for everyone to grab onto (as has been said.)

    That was the opposite of what I felt when the Bulls blew game 5 to the Heat in the ECF a few years ago.

    I shaved my playoff beard when they went down 2-1. I was nervous about that decision.

    Not that'd it matter because this power play is ass but what is interference? It seems to be called only at random.
