There are worse things than being tied at the end of the first period of the first road game in the Stanley Cup finals. Just need to score some damn goals.
I really don't want to experience losing in the championship round. I've only done that once in my life and that sucked a lot so if we could regroup and take at least one in Boston, that'd be great.
That's kind of how I felt too. Whoever that game was going to be lucky to do so, so many missed chances for each team. Though I do feel like we were more lucky than them.
Easy to forget it happened but when they scored the Bruins scored number 3 there was no way I was thinking we're playing 3OT's tonight, let alone going up 1-0.
I really wish I was a neutral fan (Ok, I don't because my team is in the Finals) because then I could enjoy this. This has to go down as one of the best Finals games ever.
This game has been fantastic. If the rest of these games are played like this, this will be the hockey version of the basketball series these two cities played a few years ago.
