Avid college baseball fan. No way he throws in a meaningless mid-week game at this point in the year. Conference games are the only thing that matters at this point.

I have XM and listen to games as I fall asleep in the summer and the Padres guy is definitely the most annoying of any team. I almost refused to listen today when I knew the Padres had the broadcast. -

Final line... 5.2 ip 6 h 3 r 3 er 3 bb 6 k 1 hbp A little trouble with control the first time on the mound is expected. Also Rice has already played a few games as well, while this is Vandy's first.

First start against Rice today. So far... 5 ip 6 h 2 r 2 er 2 bb 4 k 1 hbp Rice leads 2-1 going to the bottom of the 6th.

I would much rather have Westbrook and Jennings as opposed to any of the free agent starters. At the expense of Murton, I don't know, but those two are much better than any of the free agents. Z Hill Jennings Westbrook Prior/Miller/Marshall I'll take it.
