The way they have it, while not ideal, is the way it has to be. The line couldn't be the same all the way around, otherwise it would be impossible to hit a homerun to left-center. I don't understand your complaint about Soto hitting the ball harder and higher but a little more towards left, it wouldn't have been a homerun. If you hit a ball 400 feet to center field, it's not going to be a homerun, but if you hit it 400 feet to left field, it's obviously going to leave. Those are the breaks. I think the reason no one is taking up your point of view is because it's invalid (and I mean that with no disrespect intended).
