  1. I'd love to see the Cards bat around Grabow this inning and put up a few more bombs.
  2. God, Koyie is brutal. Where's Henry Blanco when you need him?
  3. Don't look now, but "Jeff Clement" just leapfrogged Aramis on the season HR list.
  4. I'll jump on the birthday bandwagon. Spending my 26th at GABP tonight. Cold and windy here in Cincy, can't wait for the game. Hoping this year's is better than last years...I remember it well.. Wells debuted, and Aramis went down. And the next day, we traded for Ryan Freel.
  5. Imagine how many games over .500 we'd be if Lee and Aramis were just having average seasons.
  6. How long does Soriano have to keep this up before the Wrigley idiots stop booing him? That guy has thick skin.
  7. Here comes the guy we could have had to shut us down in the ninth. At least we have Grabow, though.
  8. 0-4 tonight. Might be time to sit him in. Can Nady play first? Uh, Nady's been about as competent with a bat as Lee has. May as well let him play his way out of it. I'd move him down though for the time being... problem is, we keep having to move down our "best hitters" because they aren't hitting. Byrd, Sori, Colvin and Soto are hitting. Any combination of them could bat 3-5 and let Lee and Rami figure things out elsewhere.
  9. 0-4 tonight. Might be time to sit him in. Can Nady play first? Uh, Nady's been about as competent with a bat as Lee has. May as well let him play his way out of it. I'd move him down though for the time being...
  10. May as well bring in Grabow to give up a couple more runs in typical fashion. Not as if we're going to score on Livan Alfonseca again.
  11. Looks like Livan is going to go the distance. Can't believe we're getting steamrolled by this slob.
  12. It's times like these when Michael Wuertz would come in real handy. Good thing we unloaded his ass...
