OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO, YOU ONLY HAVE TO DEAL W/ THE CARDINALS!! again, i don't care one iota about you getting picked on...and neither should management. it's not my problem you have thin skin and a short temper.

    i was a little concerned going into sunday, but i had three QS, and you had two non-QS. and my pen was fantastic all week.

    the funny thing is, the braves seem to acknowledge the fact that they are out of it (unlike a certain other team). you'd think that if any team would be foolishly clinging to a faint hope of the postseason, it'd be the braves, who would be fighting to continue an amazing run of success...and not the cubs, who haven't tasted anything resembling success since 2003. during the game last night, smoltz was talking about being traded, and what teams he would consider going to...all but admitting that the braves' season is over. they were also recalling conversations w/ other players and coaches about how the streak is going to end.

PofM (6-5) game of the week: sanitizers v. quakers also big games for raw and tadow, as the top three teams in the east are starting to pull away a bit. recent losses by lynx and PofM allow the middle of the pack in the west to hang around the playoff picture...

    If I recall correctly, you said something before about not giving up unless the Cubs were down 10 games under .500 at the ASB...correct? Or am I thinking of someone else? Anyway, if the Cubs hit 20 games under....will you still think they can get back to .500? Cuz they aren't all that far away from that. I'm just supplying the potential map back from the horror. how is saying "let's win every series until august" supplying a map back to .500? you're just saying what they have to do, not how they're going to do it.
