  1. seems like a nice enough dude, but almora isn’t a major league player. only thing keeping him in baseball is being a theo first round pick.
  2. eight walks from the bullpen is not ideal
  3. the whole "the players can sit in the stands" thing sure didn't pan out huh.
  4. I can somehow log in to the marquee app with my directv password and watch. what a joke directv is holy horsefeathers.
  5. Iowa. got all the spring/summer games no problem. weird. are you able to watch the espn? blacked out there too
  6. where are you? mine's working Iowa. got all the spring/summer games no problem.
  7. ross figured out a way to make a 9 hitter lineup without including almora. like him already.
  8. where did the cubs win total from 2012-2014 rank? those seasons count too. Lol. They helped get us our MVP and a World series hero, that’s how they count. you’re allowed to get good players without intentionally losing for three years
  9. the last 5 years have been good? I see 3 good to great years sandwiched in between 5 years of dog horsefeathers. 97, 103, 92, 95 wins. I’d say that’s a pretty damn good run. EDIT: Most wins in the majors in that span. 1 of only 2 teams to win 90+ all four years (Dodgers) and only the Red Sox and Indians won 90+ in 3 of the 4 seasons. where did the cubs win total from 2012-2014 rank? those seasons count too.
  10. the last 5 years have been good? I see 3 good to great years sandwiched in between 5 years of dog horsefeathers. What in the hell are you talking about.. i see 4 years with a 95 win avg, a world series, and an injury riddled horsefeathers season that we were in the division/playoff race all year. guess we have different standards. I don’t consider last year to be a success. yeah they won 95 games but half of the league was tanking. and they choked on their own balls down the stretch. this year was a complete and total disaster, injuries or not. I mean yelich is way better than any cub and way more important to the brewers than anyone is to the cubs and they are cruising. also, this run of being good was predicated by years of unwatchable trash, and that counts for something. yeah I’d take the last 8 years because it meant a WS but man if Jose Ramirez was standing 4 inches to his right...
  11. So the culture of the last five years is gone, replaced by a 5 game stretch? This is miserable/morbidly entertaining, but get the horsefeathers out of here with this big picture meatball stuff. the last 5 years have been good? I see 3 good to great years sandwiched in between 5 years of dog horsefeathers.
  12. this is exactly what everyone in the orginization deserves. exactly.
  13. trying to see how many times we can let a lefty face goldschmidt/ozuna?
  14. who else would you expose, Kimbrel? Holland horsefeathering blows but it's definitely also a sad commentary on the horsefeathers show Theo gave us in the bullpen. when you take your starter out after 4 2/3 (shutout) innings, you tend to have to go pretty deep into your (terrible) bullpen.
  15. this gangly ass dude has line drive to right center written all over him.
  16. how the horsefeathers did heyward only get to 2nd there
  17. the cardinal in their lineup with the highest OPS would have the 6th highest OPS if he was in the cubs' lineup.
  18. i believe i have thought "well THIS is the game that sums up the cubs shitty season perfectly" probably 26 times.
  19. hmm...a guy who can't hit lefties up in a big spot. would be a good spot for kyle ryan oh wait.
