I said Pepsi, but, Wild Cherry Pepsi is by and far my favorite soft drink. For the person that mentioned Pepsi Blue. Yuck. I tried it once and threw it out immediately. I remember it didn't last long.
Yay, the mighty midget gets a start. Disclaimer: I am not calling Fontenot mighty nor do I believe Fontenot is anything more than a back up. But I still like him.
I still think this is a blessing in more ways than one. Zambrano gets time off and is better in the post season. Marshall gets a chance to prove himself. The Cubs organization searches hard for a legitimate starter, trough a trade or in the organization, in case someone else goes down or someone *cough* Marquis forgets how to to what he's been doing.
Sean Gallagher http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g7/nikkoaz/gallagher.jpg Sean boasts a record of 3-3 with an ERA of 4.54 and A WHIP of 1.368 Gallagher and our beloved Cubs will face James Shields http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g7/nikkoaz/Shields.jpg James is in possession of A 4-5 record with an ERA of 3.91 and A WHIP of 1.182 I apologize for the tardiness. Go Cubs Go!
He's not a flop but I am quickly losing all hope that he will ever live up to any thing close to his expectations. He can still field and I realize he hasn't been given a real sot to hit, but every at bat for him seems to be horrible. Hard to say though since he was never given even a medium sized leash.
It still blows my mind that Theriot has a chance of making the all star game, and if he gets hot could actually make it and deserve it. He's been great and has far surpassed virtually everyone's expectations.
i like how critical brenly is, everyone remember his dogging on Soriano's defense. he said you could throw a dart at the firstbase dugout and get a better lf defensively. that cracked me up
If you were manager of our Cubs and had comlete control of the Cubs organization(roster, including minors) in regards to callups, send down, release, DFA etc... How woould you manage, stategy, playing time... so on and so forth
Hell yeah. Gotta hear those radio calls. There should be more than one gem from today. Ask and ye shall receive. http://home.comcast.net/~bcvm22/cubs/5302008.mp3 Thank you very very much!!!
I had to listen on 850 KOA in Denver. Call for DeRo HR: "Fly ball to left, you never know with the wind. Gone." My reaction: Gone. CUBS take the lead 10-9! YEA! Dad: :laughs:
First vote for Geovany Soto. Really? Dude is one of, if not the best, offensive catchers in baseball and combines that with great blcoking ability behind the plate and a great arm. Why no love for Soto?
Neal Cotts sucks in real life, but in MLB The Show, he's the best pitcher on my team. Back on track, he HAS been pitching well so I guess I'd like to see him in action at the majors. Kind of a meh move.
