    Boise up 5-0 after 3 innings. Vitters (SF), Burke twice (SF), Brenley and Rundle have all flied out to the warning track...this game has been uglier than 5-0...both of Burke's SFs were with bases loaded...the second one caught in front of the 380 sign. Brenly mashed one too. Flaherty is 1-for-1 and HBP. For Casey Coleman on the mound, 9 outs, no hits.

    Oh come on Tiger, if these guys didn't bash the 18 and 19 year olds when they didn't produce all-star numbers in their first 250 professional ABs, then what would they even get on here to talk about? ](*,) The 20-25 year old that still suck? I'm just messing with you guys....it's only natural to be disappointed when a high draft pick doesn't live up to his "expectations." Although more often than not, those "expectations" are unrealistic.

    Burke to AZ. Not sure of any other moves. I'm sure someone is coming down from Daytona? Unless Vitters or Rundle are coming back to Peoria.

    Ryno's turning into the Rasheed Wallace of the MWL. Apparently Ryno and the Clinton manager had words last year when the Clinton manager gave his guy the steal sign while being up 10-0. Last night, up 7-0 in the sixth or seventh inning, he gave had one of his guy bunting (I'm assuming a SAC bunt). Of course that ticked Ryno off. After Clinton's Tim Smith got out to end the inning, Sandberg took off at a dead sprint out of the dugout, chest bumped the Clinton manager and they locked up. The bench clearing "brawl" ensued. From what I heard there was just a lot of pushing and shoving..no punches thrown. I think the players were more in shock than anything... Anyways, it must have been great to see!!! He definitely takes up for his players!

    Sandberg tossed in the second in Lansing. Apparently Burke hits one "15 feet fair" according to Nathan that would have been a two run HR, but the umpire calls it foul. Sandberg tossed and someone throws a Gatorage jug onto the field... In the third, Peoria gets bases loaded with no outs and leaves them that way. Having a rough time offensively...

    He was only going 40 pitches anyway and threw 38 in the 1st. two Abs were 8-10 pitches long. Chen to start and Ashwood to piggyback him tomorrow... Any sign of injury or was it just a bad inning? Good for Chen, he's been fantastic so far out of the pen. Is Vitters hurt? He was pulled yesterday and isn't starting today. it won't surprise me if they look at Rhee again on the offday. His stuff didnt move as much today as it had. Yes Vitters is hurt. Hurt his left hand while swinging. Day to Day. Donaldson is also hurting so he DH'd today. and Johnston is pretty sick. We are the walking wounded right now. Are we hitting it at all in Peoria? Or is it as bad as it sounds? If we're swinging it ok and they're just not falling in there, I'm alright with that for now...but it seems like there's not much going on with the offense. I still contend they're young and it's the Midwest League...but those two reasons can only last for so long! Any help ChiefsVoice?

    Ok guys I need help! I'm a tech geek, and I recently sprung for a MacBook!! I love the computer, but how in the world do I listen to MILB's game broadcasts? Does anyone else use a Mac and listen to the games? My bro plays, and I can't hear the games because Windows Media Player is not supported by Mac! Please help!

    Burke is currently 19. The guy's quote was referring to pitchers only though. Sorry! Remember, I'm a rookie. While we're talking about age though, I'll chime in. I know it can be frustrating to see guys getting "held back" who seem to be ready to move forward, but we've seen it happen all to often where they get bumped too quickly, and at 19 or 20, failure can spell disaster for a KID's confidence. And since I mentioned Burke, I personally think the Pads moved him too quickly to Fort Wayne last year. But anyways, that's neither here nor there now. I think Rhee is going to be fine, and I hope he sticks around at least until the All-Star break. It'll be interesting to see his success once the weather gets above 50 and the hitters start to come around...

    Burke is currently 19. Rhee was impressive last night for sure. Let's hope this continues. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, if it does, we might not have him long!

    It has been "interesting" to see how things have been shaken up to start Peoria's season. They've definitely got personnel issues with seemingly too many players to fill a certain number of spots (OF, DH, 1B). But with that said, it's way too early to draw any conclusions on our hitters - one, it's been in the 30's and 40's, and two, it's the Midwest League. They'll get 'em cranked up soon! Unfortunately for the guys, when you start in a league like this that has weather like this, inconsistent playing time can only hurt the already slow start (by almost all of them). It's a double whammy for their confidence. Anyways, Go Chiefs!

    Burke collided with the second baseman several games ago attempting to break up a double play. It was a minor bruise, but because it was directly on the shin, it swelled up pretty bad. He was able to tape it the next day and play, but in his third at-bat, fouled a pitch off the same spot on the same shin. Apparently its swollen and black and blue from knee to ankle. Anyways, nothing major, but they're giving him a few days off for the swelling to go down. Just thought I'd give a quick update.

    Kyler Burke to replace Harvey in Hawaii. He leaves AZ Sunday morning. Will post more when I find out more details about the Harvey injury.
