  1. Go Rocking Ronny! No DONT hit into a double play Geo.
  2. Crap. I was looking forward to a Theriot bashing session.
  3. That was likely the last opportunity. Im betting a pair of 1-2-3 innings will send these losers back to Wrigley with their pathetic tails tucked between their pathetic legs.
  4. Come on, time to get one more out on a mediocre team, and then let our over rated, over paid offense tag a below average bullpen for a few runs. Is that so much to ask?
  5. Its time to wonder if Kosuke is the God we once thought he was.
  6. both of Marquis first 2 innings have looked like vintage Ryan Dempster saves.
  7. Go ahead Marquis, serve up that 3 run meatball. You know you want to.
  8. The Phillies lineup without Rollins reminds me of the Atros lineup. A very solid heart of the lineup surrounded by a bunch of garbage.
  9. I was partially joking. Going by the law of averages, between Gallagher, Veal, and Samardzia, we'll have one respectable #2, one serviceable #4 or 5 guy, and one total bust. BTW, has the organization given up on Angel Guaman yet? What about Mark Pawelek. I know hes young still, but he's not doing so hot.
  10. Maybe the 2011 rotation will get the job done: Zambrano Jeff Samardzia Sean Gallagher Rich Hill Donnie Veal
  11. Lilly to the pen, Howry to the dumpster.
  12. Lilly has been the only one who has been consistantly dreadful so far. Hill had 1 decent outing, and one pretty bad one. Dempster has looked great, but he's going to be walking on egg shells no matter what. Marquis had one start, didnt look great. We'll probably ride him out until at least July and see what happens. Z is Z. 2 great starts, 1 bad one. I noticed on tonights broadcast, the refered to Lilly as Thursdays "scheduled starter", and when they showed the screen, it had Cincinatti pitching Edison whats his face from the Rangers and the Cubs pitching TBA.
  13. Les Walrond. They must be keeping him around for some reason.
  14. Go back in time and make more of an agressive move for Zack Greinke last season.
  15. Okay, correct me. If a player outperforms his capability, it's far more likely he'll return to his average than suddenly become terrible to even it out. And seriously, it's three starts. So that must be why JH was in such a hurry to replace DeRosa.
  16. Looks like one of those games where none of these guys earn their overly bloated paychecks.
