  1. I am starting to wonder is the Brewers really are going to give us a run for our money. A lot of these guys just arent producing. Sure, we all pretty much know that Prince will end up picking it up, but guys like Braun, Weeks, and Hardy who are really struggling are not the kind of established players who you know for fact are going to pick up. Yes, they've been doing pretty good for themselves for the most part, but at this time, dont look like a major threat.
  2. In really feel, at this point in time that the Cubs are the dominant team in the NL. Yes, we just came back from NL Cent whipping boys, but still, every starter is producing like crazy. Ramirez is coming to life, Theriot and Derosa are making us forget about Brian Robert, and if Soriano decides hes ready to play when he returns, we could be unstopable. This series will be a test. Weve done great against the Astros, Pirates, and reds, as we should, but struggled against the Philles. If we can take 2 games from the Mets, I will believe.
  3. Can he even still play 1st? I doubt he'll latch on to sit on the bench of a go-nowhere team.
  4. Teams I can see him resurfacing with in the not too distant future: Orioles Twins Mariners Yankees
  5. Response 1: Will Ohman pitches for a Japanese High School? Response 2: I wasnt aware that Scott Eyre had began his rehab assignment.

  7. I really like what I've seen from the Cubs so far, but talk to me after the Mets series.
  8. Nice AB Ward. Hopefully we dont need to see too much of him in the near future. Nothing against him, but you know.
  9. Im not too worried about D-Lee, but Len and Bob are doing there best to change that.
  10. =; Game ain't ova yet But this is Jason Marquis pitching. PRE-JUNE Jason Marquis.
  11. I think Murt will begivn left, at least for now, with D Ro back to 2nd. Lou should give this lineup a shot 1. Kozuke 2. Murton 3. Lee 4. Ram 5. D Ro 6. Soto 7. Theriot 8. Johnson 9. P. Looks better than anything in the NL.
  12. This is Sheets we're talking about. With him, its never nothing.
  13. update: strained right tricep. Sounds like a 15 dayer. Good thing they got the great Jeff Weaver.
  14. I was looking at gameday with the Brewers/Reds game, and while the Brewers are hammering Dustys Reds, it says that Sheets left the game before the 6th with an injured arm. Anyone have any details on it?
  15. So when does Nate McClouth become a free agent? I hope Hendry has his agent on speed dial.
  16. Good to see the boys eek out a close one, especially, again in a game where someone named Zambrano or Dempster isnt pitching.
  17. I hope this guy never gos to Yankee stadium, because he'll be cowering in a corner by the 3rd inning.
  18. That would be hilarious if Tulos avg. didnt break the .200 mark after the contract they gave him.
  19. Rich Hill cant afford to give up more than 1 run, because as previously stated, Cubs hitters HATE Rich Hill.
  20. That would be ludicrous to give up what is now our top pitching prospect, especially with so many questions regarding out pitching staff lately, plus trading him for something we really, really dont need.
