  1. Personally, I think Warren Buffet Field, home of the Chicago Warren Buffets has a nice ring to it.
  2. The good news is that I highly, highly doubt that Sheets will pitch more than 5 innings, 6 tops and we'll get into that inconsistant bullpen of theirs, so hopefully Marquis can keep it close.
  3. Marlins stroke again, this time 1st&2nd 0 out.
  4. what has happened to him? Same thing as Carl Pavano and Jason Schmidt. He signed a huge guaranteed contract, realised he was set for life, and said to hell with it. Exactly. They were just like, "now that I have money, I'll injure my arm." Some folks take things entirely too seriously.

  6. Yup. Brewers will be in 1st by the time Soriano comes back.
  7. And the Marlins Cub themselves out of a bases loaded, 0 out oportunity.
  8. Kinda like how the Nats where cold for this weekend series eh? The Nats are always cold. The Cubs just got got really cold.
  9. Hopefully they they wont Cub themselves out of it.
  10. looks like Derrick Turnbows about to do what Derrick Turnbow does and spoon feed the Marlin few runs, so hopefull they can keep the Brewers cold.
  11. This Brian Roberts? .255/330/415 Do you ever not over-react? He just said DeRosa isn't a good ball player, so I'd have to say no. Hes great against the Reds. that I'll give him. He was pretty mediocre before the reds series, so we'll have to see what he does in upcoming weeks.
  12. The game was doomed as soon as they played the Magnetic Fields during the fan cam. Nothing gets the adrenalin pumping harder than a love song being sung to another man.
  13. Absolutely. And the bottom fell out so suddenly. one moment, they pull of an extra inning win, which youd think would give them som big time momentum, next thing you know, they get shut down 3 of 4 games and give the Nationals their 2nd series win of the season.
  14. You=completely wrong Derosa=good utility man fixed.
  15. well this team seems to be on the fast track to the bottom. I havnt seen them play worse in a long, long, time, and now were about to play our supposed arch rivals. Good luck. How do we get our hands on Brian Roberts now? Im thinking this team would be a hell of a lot better with DeRosa and Theriot on the bench, seeing as they're not very good baseball players.
  16. We've seen Cubbie baseball as bad as its been in a loooong time 3 of these past 4 games. Alfonso Soriano where art thou? Hopefully we can squeak out a win in the Brewers series before quietly fading to 4th place in the next few weeks.
  17. thisis one of those games that make you wonder if the Cobs will ever score again.
  18. Cubs are 10,001-0 when they score more runs than the other team. Lets try to make it 10,002.
  19. At least he didnt throw his glove. Now get some damn runs.
  20. Does anyone have tally on the amount of runners in scoring position these scroats have stranded the past 4 games? My GOD they're looking awful lately
  21. Can we please capitilize on it this time? Seriously. Its the freaking Nats.
  22. At least we have the big boys coming up. Hopefully, after 2 times through the order, they're starting to pick up on the fact that he's really not that great of a pitcher.
  23. Cubs have been letting these types of situation get away waaaaaaaaay too much lately.
