The good news is that I highly, highly doubt that Sheets will pitch more than 5 innings, 6 tops and we'll get into that inconsistant bullpen of theirs, so hopefully Marquis can keep it close. -

This Brian Roberts? .255/330/415 Do you ever not over-react? He just said DeRosa isn't a good ball player, so I'd have to say no. Hes great against the Reds. that I'll give him. He was pretty mediocre before the reds series, so we'll have to see what he does in upcoming weeks.

Absolutely. And the bottom fell out so suddenly. one moment, they pull of an extra inning win, which youd think would give them som big time momentum, next thing you know, they get shut down 3 of 4 games and give the Nationals their 2nd series win of the season.

well this team seems to be on the fast track to the bottom. I havnt seen them play worse in a long, long, time, and now were about to play our supposed arch rivals. Good luck. How do we get our hands on Brian Roberts now? Im thinking this team would be a hell of a lot better with DeRosa and Theriot on the bench, seeing as they're not very good baseball players.

We've seen Cubbie baseball as bad as its been in a loooong time 3 of these past 4 games. Alfonso Soriano where art thou? Hopefully we can squeak out a win in the Brewers series before quietly fading to 4th place in the next few weeks.
