Im going to say as a set up man, but if Wood keeps it up, we may not have a choice. Still it makes me think of a former set up man we once had whose very name brings up fits of vomitting amongst Cubs fans. Still back in 2004, he was at the top of his game as one of baseballs top set up men, until, against his wishes, Dusty Baker moved him to closer, and hes never been the same since. Another career that bit the Dust at the hands of Dusty. I cant imagine anyone wanting him as a starter. He wouldnt be able to exhibit nearly as much dominance. As a 1, 2 at most inning guy, he can put his best stuff into every pitch, but as a starter hed have to pace himself through 5-7 innings. If you could just take a lights out closer, and make him a light out starter, many a lights out closer would have long since become a starter.
