I hope he suffers an unprecedented long term affect of not being able to swing the bat very well against the Cubs only. Outside of that, happy hitting to him. Im wishing that Albert comes back full strenghth tommorow, but the rest of the team turns into the crap that its supposed to be.

he pinch hit last night and I didn't see any problems so I would think he will be in the lineup He took 4 pitches. Wasn't too strenuous. Albert Pujols didnt see any problems when he came back last week.

May as well do it now. I dont see Hart being put in much between now and then, and Id rather have a power bat on the bench than a guy who will give up a bunch of runs.

So was this a direct effect of the injury that kep him out for a few games last week? If so I wonder if Pujols downplayed it or LaRussa just didnt want to DL him at the time.

It seems as though he gives up 2 runs every appearence lately. He gave up another pair tonight, but still got the save for the mighty Randy Wells.
