    I apologize if this has been mentioned already, unless Im mistaken, Pujols has yet to be officially DLd. Hes still on the 25 man.

    Yup, Hoff and Patt up, Kevin Hart down. Its too bad for Hart. When I was a kid, and I knew bed time was coming, Id sometimes hide so my parents would forget. Kevin Hart seemed to be doing the same thing. I guess it didnt work for him either.

    I suppose if you have to replace your hot hitting left fielder, theres no better choice than a light hitting middle infielder.

    If we did, Id give it a big fat meh. Hes not horrible, hes had some decent offensive seasons, but Id be just as happy, if not happier with Hoff. Hasnt Lou been saying sice spring training that he wanted to give Hoff a shot, and as soon as the oportunity came, he would? Well, heres the opportunity.

    I'd like to see Hoffpauir out there. I would to, but I have this feeling that Lous going to do something ridiclous like have DeRosa in left and platoon Cedeno and Fontenot.

    People seem to forget Jones' second half surge plus hes damn good in the field. Hopefully Soriano will be back by the second half, but just in case. Jones would be a better option than Murton, plus we dont have to give anything up because WE'RE ALREADY PAYING HIM.

    Part of the success of this team has been the fact that there are no easy outs in the lineup. Add Fontenot, Cedeno, or Johnson against righties, that changes. Just give Hoff a week or 2 in a platoon with Johnson.

    I suppsoe Johnson/Edmonds/Fukudome would give us one of the best defensive outfields in the game, and Johnson would still be one of the better 8 hitters out there. Still, I go my my Edmonds in center, Hoff/Johnson LF platoon unless Hoff proves he cant cut it.

    In all honesty, it wont be that bad, and none of the options that dont involve Fontenot or Cedeno playing full time are OK by me.

    Even if Murton and Hoff are called up, which is likely unless a trade happens, one of the 2 is going back down when Ward returns. How many options does Murton have left anyway? It seems hes been up and down 37 times in the last 3 years.

    What would we have to give up to get Roberts at this point? Baltimores at .500, but still in dead last. Roberts is playing better now. Hill, Ceda, Cedeno, and Murton? Too much? too little? Would they demand Pie, or at least Colvin?

    Im shocked that nobodys suggested trading for Brian Roberts and moving DeRosa to left. Absolutely shocked.

    Edmonds should get center full time as long as hes playing well, and Johnson and Hoff should platoon left.

    Yeah, let Murt have his shot. How's he doing in Iowa? I wouldnt be opposed to giving Edmonds center as long as hes playing well, and let Johnson and Hoffpauir platoon in left.

    I dont know who will ultimatley take over left field, but the one thing I do know is that the people of this board will suggest every left fielder from every sub .500 team over the next few weeks.

    Hoffpauir can come up tomorrow since he'll be replacing someone on the DL. I did not know that. Either way, someone will come up for waste of space Kevin Hart. Im guessing Murton, but Eric Patterson could also be an option, as could Andres Torres as a dark horse. Or is it Ansres Blanco? The younger one. I always get those 2 confused.

    Fuku would be an ideal leadoff hitter. Not only can he get on base one way or nother, but he takes so many pitches that he can probably get a look at the opposing pitchers entire asrenal in the first at bat.

    So who gos to leadoff? Fuku and Theriot are the only possibilities.
