I wonder how long Lee gets before hes moved down the lineup? Im not one of those people who says give Hoffpauir the starting job, but Lee is long past the point where hes an option for the more imprtant spot in the lineup. Ramirez, Bradley, Soto would be a better 3-4-5 option than what we have, and you could do a hell of a lot worse than Derrek Lee as your 6 hitter. Lees never been a selfish player, and hed probably understand the move. Its not like Im saying move him to the 8 hole. Id even say try Fontenot as the 3 hitter if he can ever learn to hit lefties.

I can pretty much promise that in the long run, the Brewers bullpen will blow a lot more games than ours.

Why would Weeks get a fine and Jose Valverde doesnt get one for jumping up and down like an idiot every time he gets a save, or does anything for that matter?

If Guzman and Patton turn out to be for real, Gregg could be an afterthought and be given mop up duty.

Either way, at this stage of the season, Harden looking as good as he was is more imprtant than the W.

The top of the 8th was pretty boneheaded. With Soriano on deck with runners on the corners, someone needs to bunt, be it Marmol or Miles. We do have Zambrano vs. Bush tomorrow and Dempster vs. Suppan for the next game, so the series is ours to win.

OK, OK, hopefully we can scratch out a few runs here and Gregg can take care of the tail end on the Brewers lineup. Do they have anyone worthwhile on their bench?

Predictions- Milton Bradley goes 2-4 with a walk HRs for Soriano, Ramirez, and Fontenot Kosuke 2-5 Harden 6IP w/8K 2ER Jason Kendall goes 3 for 5 and throws out Ryan Theriot twice Vizcaino makes his debut and has 1 solid inning, and goes back out and gives up 2 ER before Marmol bails him out with 2 on and 1 out Kevin Gregg gives us a scare but nails down the save Cubs win 7-5

Come on, its 3 games into the season. Only The Nationals are offically out of it.
