    Greg Maddux, Steve Trachle, John Lieber, Jason DuBois, and Paul Bako were wondering the same thing. OK, its unfair to lump Maddux with that bunch, but by the time we got him back, he wasnt worth what we paid for him.

    Soriano, Johnson, and Fukudome are a more than capable outfield when that hapens. I just wish we had a better 5th outfielder than Gathright. Jake Fox or Sam Fuld hould have gotten a chance instead of signing him for no apparent reason.

    Bradley's no slouch defensively, but no chance. Honestly, I think 99.9% of right fielders would have stood there and watched in sail over the barrier. It looked like a no doubter off the bat.
