    Looks like this will end up as another very solid start wasted by the Cobs. I hate to add some positivity here, but if the starters keep up what theyve been doing, once the hitters strike that only the Cubs are partaking in comes to an end, we'll have one hell of a team.

    They realy need to DL Bradley at this point. Too many guys are banged up and we need another bat. As hot as Jake Fox is, Id rather him in that pinch hitter spot, as thats all Bradley will be for now.

    Spendid start. If a steaming pile of human feces were to manage to organize a baseball team, the quality of play would be identical to that which we have seen from the cobs the past week.

    Ive heard bad, but I never saw it for myself. The reason I ask is becuase when trade time comes around, it will be a lot easier to find an outfielder with a nice bat than a middle infielder. Is Soriano at all capable of 2B anymore? Even if no trade comes along, and Fontenot stays cold, you could have Johnson, Fuku, Bradley across the outfield.

    The one thing that bugs me more and more each day is the DeRosa trade. Granted, hes OPSing in the .600s in Cleveland although he has 3 HR and 15 RBI. My point being is how did they not realise how valuable this guy was? he was one of the more consistant hitters on the team, and could play multiple positions. Also, they talk about "trading high", but when you have a guy whose been great for you, and now hes in his contract year, wouldnt you expect him to be even better? When they were trading him to free up cash for Peavy, it made sense, but when we came up empty on that, and then end up paying 3 mil between Miles and Gathrigt, meanwhile inexplicably eating 4 million on Vizcaino, it gets more and more frusterating.

    You mean for the fraction of the season that Ramirez will probably be out I intended if both Ramirez and Brasdley have to miss any amount of time. Bradley really needs to take some DL time if hes going to get better.
