  1. Im sure they were crying when Ramirez and Zambrano went down. Fans of any team that seek out rival fans when the latter loses a player to rub it in due to injury suck. Id agree with you there, but its the last part of the quote I found ammusing.
  2. Damn, when I last checked the Iowa score, it was 12-5. Kevin Hart has really blossomed into something awful, although it was more Wadell and Estrads fault. Still, I know its not a popular sentiment, but when it comes to the minor leagues, Im more interested in indivisual player stats than the W/L, such as Foxes 3-4 2 HR 5 RBI performance. Too bad Jeff Stevens gave up his first earned run of the year.
  3. Especially considering his roller coaster ride to get here the past few weeks. First hes flown to Chicago to learn that hes going back. Then He gets up and does OK for himself. Then in comes Freel, and its apparently the end of the line for him. Then down goes Ramirez and he stays some more. Seriosuly between Scales and Freel, they need to shop Miles. How many organizations has Scales been in, anyway? 4. He spent 6 in the Pads, 1 each with the Phils and Red Sox and then us. Between him and Hoff, it just goes to show that in future off season we need to start trusting our farm system more, at least for role players rather than going out and making pointless aquisitions like Miles and Gathright.

If Miles is going to leave the Cubs, it will be by a DFA rather than a trade. We should have offered up to Oakland whose entire infield pretty much went down at once. Hes really no worse than Adam Kennedy.
  5. Dont forget Milton whose home run just landed somewhere in the U.P.

  7. But hes not white and gritty, so he has no business in the Cubs infield.
  8. I really hope Scales gets some pt, especially with Fontenot struggling and Aaron Miles being Aaron Miles.
  9. Fox(I guess I dont have to say Jake Fox any more as hes the only one left) with a second 2 run blast. Too bad the guy cant play 3rd, at least competantly.
  10. Heres a reply from some Cardinals but clown, likely one of the Brothers Koblentz. Im sure they were crying when Ramirez and Zambrano went down.
  11. He's done it in 3 of his last 4 games Its just that he usually throws 65 pitches in the process.
  12. Marmol simply didnt trust Gregg with Gonzalez.
  13. Time for a Fontebomb to give Marmol the night off.
  14. If Scales doesnt at least get to stay in a finish this game, that will be a sucky move by Lou.
  15. This just in: Americn Airlines Flight 456 Just got nailed with a baseball.
  16. Jake Fox 2-2 with an HR and back up to .400. Brad Snyder with one too.
  17. Hopefully Theriot goes for a single and doesnt try to channel the Babe here.
  18. With our offense it probably won't matter. There are three guys in this lineup that are hitting worth a crap right now, and Lou's inexplicably benching one of them. Its Jake Peavy though. Even vs. the Brewers without Ramirez we put up some runs. I think we can get past Young and whatever other irrelevant pitcher they send out Thursday.
  19. I just hope that Chris Young doesnt decide its 2007 tommorow.
