    Do we even have an equivelent to Young, and if so, I really hope Hendry wouldnt trade him for a middle of the pack loogy.

    So I guess its pretty safe to assume that this move is to get Stevens back up before the 10 day period and in the next day or 2 Shark or Atkins will be sent down for Fuld or Taguchi unless a trade takes place.

    According to MLBTR, the Rockies asked about Grabow and Beimal, and both the Pirates and Nats asked for top propsect Eric Young Jr. in return, and I sure hope that Hendry wouldnt give up anything close to that for one of those 2.

    Agreed, it's dumb if true. As of now, Jay Jackson is still on Tennessees roster, but I dont know how often they update.

    i really don't Sam Fuld is worth...anything really. also, that leaves the Cubs without a backup CF If we really want a backup CF, bring up So Taguchi. He cant be any worse than most people project Sam Fuld to be anyway.

    From what I hear, the Royals want a CF and the Marlins want bullpen help. Laugh all you want, but I wonder if Sam Fuld is someone we could base a deal for Teahen around. Its not like they're going to land Grady Sizemore for the guy. Offer Sam Fuld+2 prospect/PTBNL.

    Regardless of what happens tonight, I think you guys are toast w/o another front line starter. I think theyre toast with anything short of Roy Halladay. Jarod Washburn, Doug Davis, or Jon Garland are not going to fix that mess of a rotation.

    Judging by gameday, that Brendan Ryan fly out looks like it was about an inch short of being a 3 run bomb.
