    LOL at 'became available today'. What a douchebag. What I don't get is why the hell did they need to see a video? Everyone knew he beat her up and dragged her unconscious body out of an elevator. The NFL saw the video and was like, "Oh we didn't know he hit her THAT hard". WTF does it matter? No to mention it's complete [expletive] that they didn't see it before now. The story they tried to go with was she attacked him and while he eventually hit her it was basically self defense. That's why they had her apologize and attend his news conference.

    these ratings, especially in one game, have to be taken with a large grain of salt.

    Even if some sort of investigation proves that people at the top saw the video and then they lied about it, I cannot imagine too much of a backlash. Maybe some deputy loses his job and a sponsor gets replaced by another waiting in the wings. I'm thinking more in terms of public outcry.     i had never heard this all i remember was him very publicly reluctantly taking on the role as the lead guy once urlacher was gone. after very publicly saying he was sick of being the second guy and wanting the lead dog* role *or some other similarly meaning phrase

    San Francisco didn't do anything yesterday apart from what Tony Romo gifted them. I wasn't impressed. I'm not really panicking on the Bears, but really, the same thing could be said of the Bears....Buffalo didn't do anything yesterday other than what the Bears gifted them. Wouldn't that be a good thing (relatively speaking) and a point in US's favor, then? If the Bears had to gift-wrap it to lose by 3, that's a lot better than them playing as well as they should and losing. Same goes the other way for what US is saying (although jersey is right that they didn't HAVE to do anymore). I do not see how anybody can say the Bears gift wrapped that game. They played a relatively weak team at roughly the same level.
