  1. If anybody watches the good wife, they need to superimpose Cary Agos and Diane Lockhart trying to introduce these two and saying they should get along together.

  10. i'm not sure that weakness is a weakness this team realistically has to worry about I don't think it's an Achilles heel, but I didn't feel that way about CF defense either. La Stella as the only LH bat on the bench isn't ideal, and I'm probably TLS's biggest fan. What's your over/under on number of games Kyle Schwarber does not start?

  12. I'm going to assume Brooks has one more option this year, making him an Iowa Shuttle candidate.
  13. It makes all the sense in the world to try and play every day, but I suspect his chances of making bank diminish while spending the next year in Oakland.

  17. I think we stick with Cutler.
  18. That's my favorite part
  19. I think the much more likely scenario for him waiting for the end of the year/a WS is that he's hoping to negotiate a ridiculous compensation package with the Cubs that dwarfs any current GM/President of Baseball Operations compensation package. That's what I find unusual, although I haven't checked to see if it is actually unusual. It just seems that most GM's don't enter their final season of a contract without signing an extension by opening day if they are thought to be a huge part of the team's future. I'm pretty sure every Brian Cashman extension was signed the day before his previous one expired.
