    this team is starting to look like nothing but a fragile shell of its potential I really think the record is exactly what the potential of this team was. 5-10 games over .500 that then, is where we differ sir this is much better than their record...much better it is just too bad

    marquis is about the same but...a very nice call on this... i don't know why but the 5th inning is usually time to get nervous, and it sucks

    yeah...i saw him play today in clearwater...it was my first cubs game!!! they lost 6-2 the team is not very good...i got a chopper foul ball though...so that was cool... however, dopirak did make a great hustle play on a pop to the dugout...he fell over the railing trying to make the catch, but he didn't hang on to it... oh well...i was kind of shocked to see him in the lineup...i didn't know he had cleared assignment...

    ok, hopefully you fair much better in game threads than actual games :wink: go cubbies!!! pull back into .5 games back!!! woody is going for the astros tomorrow...i think the cobwebs coming off the ball will confuse the young brewers hitters... i hope

    he is in a slump right now guys... i know...bad time to be slumping, but there you have it he will have 20 plus homers this year count on it dlee is the man and he will help this team reach the postseason

    thank the lord...i think it should be marmol in a landslide...but this is better than nothing i am tired of Mr. Adventure closing isn't a game...it isn't, gee...lets see how many runners i can get on base without giving up the game... dempster :evil:

    he is no good anymore apparently i was at a rays game earlier this year...after he was demoted to the pen...there were a couple of hyperactive dude sitting a couple of rows in front of me and fossum walked from the pen up by us and they screamed, "You suck!" while it is true that he sucks...i did feel really bad for the dude because he actually looks like a really nice guy who knows what happened? :?

    more so than a bat? really? rapada and piggy haven't been up here this year have they? cherry and petrick aren't exactly trash i think the pen is the least of our troubles right now They've all been up. The bullpen is at worst out #2 biggest issue. #1 as far as I'm concerned. You are on crack. nice personal attack who is piggy omaphelos? hang on... Carmen Pignatiello The answer to your question is that Pignatiello has not been up. Rapada has and pitched to a total of 1 major league batter, and he got him out. sweet, thank you, when was rapada up here?

    and seriously... can someone please tell me if rapada and piggy were called up this year i really missed it if they did and i am curious when they were up here? :shock:

    Ryan?? way to know your stuff. Ryan, Sean, Jason, Arnie, who the **** cares what this scrub's first name is. Send him back to double AA. I have no idea why they brought him the second time around. He wasn't that great. Petrick did alot better than this goof. Petrick/Cherry/Gallagher/Cotts/Ohman/Rapada don't work! Jim needed to acquire a reliever and he stood Pat.     dude, he is not pitching against the royals and that has nothing to do with anything wtf? yes it does...the rockies are on a roll tonight, they have very VERY good hitters, and it is being played in colorado are you really trying to tell me that all of those factors do not matter?

    if rich is stupid having gone to U. of Michigan, then I don't want to know what the other guys on this team are like (most having not gone to college, and the Latin players didn't even finish their equivalent of high school) that is a good point... come on troy...i need some fantasy points!! :(

    Pie hasn't looked any better. At least Pie is automatic in CF and fast as hell. yeah, but if he doesn't start connecting with the ball...lou isn't going to play him that sucks

    my friend thinks i am crazy for still being worried about the redbirds... i told him last night...dude...they have played 3 fewer games than us... if they win all of those games... what i am trying to say is that they make me very nervous, and i will NOT count them out until all is said and done
