meh...he isn't all that great...you can frigging tell when he doesn't feel comfortable...i knew something bad was about to happen by the way he was toeing the mound and holding himself last night he is a bit babyish... now how bout that screenshot?
I saw the first inning on TV, then listened to the rest while driving home from the beach. My XM was dead and I had to rely on the randomly placed ESPN affiliated radio stations that weren't carrying the basketball game. Of course the signal was at it's worst just as Dempster imploded. That's not necessarily a bad thing. on that topic...anyone have a screen shot of the 5 second camera zoom-in on dempster in the dugout after he blew the game and ate dirt? that was a precious face almost as precious as the face he made when Piniella came out last night after he fell down dempster really is trash
It was in the draft. Throwing money around wouldn't hurt and I'm afraid the next owner might skimp on the funds. if they are going to invest that much money in acquiring the franchise, why would they skimp on funds?
i don't know what you are all talking about, i voted jacque for the allstar game he is my favorite player of all time i have his picture on the wall as well as his rookie card in a shrine right above my toliet in short he rules
yeah, pretty positive it is conjecture...it is even more so just conjecture because of the recent rumblings regarding his interest in starting a football league to compete with the nfl
lets trade them zambrano, jones, and maybe something else for tulowitzski...(this kid is going to special me thinks)...and then other players because you guys are better at putting together deal than myself
i just got done talking to lilly and he said, and i quote, "I got my stuff today, if i close my eyes I can still see the strikezone, obi wan will be with my arm today, mark my words, here comes a perfect game!"
I'm not even back to cautiously optimisitc yet, but I have moved from cynically distnaced to pessimisitcally observant. lol this about sums up my situation as well win punks!
former pitching coach Oscar Acosta's son Ryan. One of only two high school players picked in the entire draft. kind of cool...that school is right down the road from me
this is probably a pointless post, but i have had a discussion a couple of times recently with my roommate...he thinks that it is bollocks that the pitcher is allowed to block the plate...scratch that...illegal?...he says that you can't block any of the other plates, so you shouldn't be able to block home... i have never heard this from someone before... i think it is a great aspect of the game, and i would never like to see it any different...am i alone here? are there other people out there that feel the same way that he does!?!!?
