Neifi was a demigod with a bat for almost a solid month. Yuck. Really? I don't remember that. I still stand by my opinion, however that Neifi was a decent 25th man. The problem was that he was used more that a 25th man should be used. When Neifi first showed up with the Cubs, for 23 games at the end of the 2004 season, he hit .371/.400/.548. And then he picked up where he left off and hit .368/.403/.559 in 68 at-bats in April of 05. Once May came though, it was over (although he did have a very good August of 05 as well). Actually, the Neifster had 3 very good stretches with us in 2005........ Perez AB R H 2B 3B HR TB RBI BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS

My favorite Neifi moment is when he hit that grand slam in the 8th inning of a 2005 game at Busch Stadium to beat the cardinals. That was awesome. He was my least favorite player the rest of the time.
