  1. Also, OK then, Arrieta.
  2. BABIP normalizing Kinda scary.
  3. Skulina did not enjoy his first inning in KC. 3 ER and 2 BB
  4. Haha Florida really is the worst.
  5. Yea any hope for the Cubs being even in the top 3 has been gone for a while now, imo. I just want them to stay in the top 10 for pick protection.
  6. Wow I don't think I've ever considered Peralta as one of the top upside/most interesting guys in the system.
  7. Entering today, Baez's K% is at 33.9%
  8. You know what's really nice? I can't remember the last time the system had a day where the pitching lineup that wasn't interesting.
  9. he's 18 and is allowing more than a hit per inning, let's relax. Not sure that's a compelling enough reason to keep him out of Boise.
  10. Hooray Hendricks! Also, nice to see Lendy Castillo thriving in Daytona.
  11. The Cards Fan tweets from Baseball's Best Fans tonight have been amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. Best phrasing ever.
  12. Concepcion threw 2 scoreless with a hit and a K, presumably didn't [expletive] himself.
  13. Dat K/BB. I saw it and had to go check it to make sure it was real. He has a 93/23 K/BB in 101.2 IP.
  14. Pinyero done at: 6 IP, 3 H, 0 BB, 7 K. ERA at 1.96 Loosen holding steady so far in his return to AA: 5 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 3 K
  15. Outstanding .gif choice, sir.
  16. Squeeeeeeeeee. 28 on the year. Pinyero Update: 4.0 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 6 K Friendly reminder: Theo/Jed got him for the corpse of Scott Hairston who has so far OPSd .284 in 17 AB for the Nats.
  17. Pinyero so far tonight for Daytona: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 5 K
  18. Man I wish Shoulders wasn't striking out like 28.5% of the time.
  19. Oh man, nice find.
  20. Obviously you hope he can get the K's down as he adjusts and all, but it seemed like a decent comparison. I'd take it. The question is whether Baez would go through similar struggles to Alvarez when he comes up to the majors. He does usually take a while to adjust to a new level.
  21. Haha, heading into tonight, Olt has a BABIP of .154 in his first 5 games at Iowa.
