    Biggest surprise: I'll put Baez here. I really liked the guy, but just didn't think he was capable of the season he just pulled off. Can't wait to see where he ends up next year. Most Improved: Of many, I'd say Alcantara turning into a consensus Top 100 guy. He may have cooled off at the end, but man what a year. Biggest Disappointment(s): Jacob Hannemann getting injured before we could even see what we had, which is why he ranks above Almora and Soler who I still refuse to worry about. Favorite Long-shot(s): Pineyro for a reasonable one, Rock Shoulders for a truly unreasonable long shot.

    Pineyro has struck out 5 of his first 6. Man Daytona's pitching has been freaking ridiculous.

    Tim McCarver always caused me to spend the entire game basically trying to will him to die in the booth, which given the last few Cubs playoff appearances is kinda ok I guess.

    I know you were talking about other posters, but I honestly don't care much about that at all. I just think the NCAA, conferences, and the schools themselves have screwed up the level of competition with things like conference re-alignments and the bowl system. They did those things to make a ton of money, which...whatever...so long as it doesn't mess up the product, which I think they absolutely have. This. I've never been able to get invested at all due to the above, especially the awful bowl system. You were mediocre, so enjoy playing in the Hormel Chili Bowl sometime in mid December! Yay?
