We have enough high paid high calibur players. Now we just need to compliment them with the best of the best of our young guys (whom which work out). Out of Murton, CPatt, Pie, Cedeno, ect. . You never have enough high caliber players. -
Dunn's career line: .245/.380/.513 Posted over 40 homers the last 3 years, and over 100 RBIs 2 of the last 3 years. He's played in 160 or more games the last 3 years, so you know he is going to be out there everyday. He's also walked over 100 times the last 3 years. Dunn rolls out of bed and hits 40 homers and walks 100 times. The fact that he came in, in the best shape of his life this year and has been working his butt off on defense and putting the ball in play more is a scary thought. Don't compare him and Murton.

No, it's not. Murton isn't exactly a gold glover out there either. If you don't think Dunn is an upgrade over Murton, you need to take those blue glasses off. I really like Murton, but that's a big reach.

Can we have Adam Dunn? Please. As good as he is, we don't have a spot for him. We have Lee where he should be playing, 1B, and if you thought our outfield defense was bad now, adding Dunn would make it worse. He's about equivalent to putting a glove on a statue out there. LOL that's a joke right? You don't have room for 40 homers, 100 RBIs, and high OBP? I agree completely that we could use Dunn, but at some point you have to consider defense at the expense of more offense.. As somebody who watches every game, his D is bad, but it's nowhere near bad enough to offset his offense.

It's pretty simple. The Bucs passing game blew last year. The signing of Jeff Garcia will help, but Michael Clayton has been a bust since a good rookie year, and Galloway's leg could fall off at any moment. It's an obvious pick. -

I'll feel much better if Florida loses tomorrow, but with my luck they'll probably go all the way. :cry: At times like this, I hate sports. Why couldn't I have grown up loving Duke, the Yankees and the Patriots? My life would be so much easier. I apologize to everyone on the board for these horrible words, I'm just in a very depressed mood right now. Exactly how I felt about 4 hours ago... You'll get over it eventually. I'm already partly over it. But usually, the morning after is the worst. Hopefully I don't break my hand from punching a wall. I thought maybe so, but then I thought I saw McBride in the game on the next defensive possession-I'm not watching the TV currently though so they may be explaining it right now though-so if they do, I haven't heard it yet. :D You mis-saw, lol. Welcome to Illinois basketball. Make the game ugly and drag other teams down to your level...which is why I picked them to win two games in the tournament. Illinois tried to give them 5 easy points to end the half and momentum, thank God that long 3 didn't go in. 29-21 at the half. I'll take it all day. Keep playing strong D in the 2nd half and we are in very good shape.
