    A bunch of friends of mine from college ended up in Nashville after graduation. They've all since become Preds fans and were pissed off by all the "Skankhawk" (clever name, right?) fans at the game. They were very upset that these fans would yell and hollar during the National Anthem.

    1. This isn't the Tribune Cubs anymore. 2. Most Cubs fans probably hate him because they're [expletive] morons. I doing live around many cubs fans anymore. You guys are my exposure and my cousin. We all love prior. Do the masses really hate him? I'm kind of in the same boat. I just assumed everyone loved him.

    St. Louis Cardinals are holding a press conference at 1:30. Speculation is that Chris Carpenter is done for.

    I wonder if they might get him to take a paycut and just be a returner? I'd be ok with that. As much as he's ticked me off as a WR, I still love what he has done as a returner. Though, the new kickoff rules limit his abilities a little.

    I doubt he'll get traded but I imagine the Bears will cut him. Think Toub will want him and/or have enough pull to get Andy Reid to go after him? I was thinking the Chiefs already had a really solid returner, but must have been thinking of another team. I'd love for him to go to KC, especially if they were willing to part with a 3-4rnd pick!

    gotta be comeback player then too, right? 0-3 for Peyton? I dunno, I mean, AP did miss 4 games with his injury, but Peyton missed an entire season. That means a bit more to me in terms of "comeback". Though, AP came back quickly from a very nasty injury. So, what I'm trying to say is that I have no idea.

    He didn't make it into the top 20 in pass blocking efficiency for the second year in a row. I'm a little worried that he will be the Bears version of Orlando Pace. Wait... wasn't Orlando Pace the Bears version of Orlando Pace? What I meant was: Long = Orlando Pace when he was on the Bears not: Long on the Bears = Orlando Pace Sorry for the confusion. I'm even more confused now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Orlando Pace on the Bears was a shell of what Orlando Pace on the Rams was.

    It would be nice for a burb to step up and say, "Here's some land, here's how we could make this work." and for the Cubs to go, "Looks good. If we're not getting what we need here, we'll let you know." And yes, it would suck for the Cubs to move to the burbs, but what I wouldn't do to see the looks on that asshat Tunney's face.

    I always wondered how they got away with those seats. Up until I was about 20, or so, I thought the Cubs owned those seats.

    NFL is looking to revise the Rooney Rule after no minorities have been selected for any of the HC or GM positions yet. What are they going to do? Require that if 8 teams are looking for a HC, 2 have to hire a minority? Because that makes sense.
