    Didn't see a thread for HS basketball, so I'll post here... Did anyone watch the 1a ihsa final? Not really fair for Heyworth to have to okay Mooseheart. 3 or 4 guys taller than 6'6", and can throw it down.

    I think he missed the mark with this. The Cardinal Way is an organizational blueprint. If he wanted to take people to task for misrepresenting what it is, I would've agreed with that, but he's basically griping about a successful marketing strategy. IDK. There are plenty of people who live here in Central Ill that believe that the Cardinals play with some sort of moral superiority or the right way. They run out grounders, dive after balls, hit behind runners and play clean. I think they have thought this way long before there was any marketing campaign.That's how I took it. Living near St. Louis, I felt everybody took "The Cardinal Way" as moral superiority. I equated it with "Grit Factor".

    smh no plate discipline ib derwood telling me how mainstream that joke is two jokes I've heard multiple times this week are that "no plate discipline" in regards to montero, and the ray rice "that's his longest carry of the season" one, never get old. I prefer the "Leave it up to Rice to fumble after a 3 yard carry" version of that joke.
