    I certainly wouldn't go crazy about it either. I've wanted him replaced for a while now but would actually like to see him back on a 1 year deal due to the shortened offseason (problem is they may have to overpay him for a 3 year deal). I really don't think the market for a 34 year old center with questions about his health is that large, this article makes it sound like he has all the leverage in the world because he yells at the other players. As far as threatening the media, based off Haugh's quote here: I would say it's definitely possible.

    Meh, I'm not gonna debate about all - that wasn't the point. Talent is needed everywhere (especially WR) But another season of Cutler getting sacked at a ridiculous pace can't happen, no matter who is at WR. It won't take long before his body can't take it anymore, not a good plan for the franchise QB.

    I'd rather take a chance on Burress than Smith. Fitting people into Martz offense that may be gone in a year just doesn't weigh as heavily to me. It's still all predicated on the offensive line. I can't wait for this lockout to end and the quick FA signings as a result.

    That's the beauty of the Fecal League. It can be completely ignored as its happening, while siphoning out any enjoyment you can from a Cubs win every fortnight or so. Even casual Fecal Leaguers can pop in to deride the worthless late season winning streak (The Quade Special) or any remaining game against the Astros. Everyone is welcome on the [expletive] wagon.

    Does anyone else remember this? I saw an interview back in the day and Chipper Jones was talking about how his busted lip made him look tough. I thought it was from him running into the wall playing LF, but I can't remember.

    I guess I did not realize Hill is 6'2, I was thinking he was taller than that for some reason. But I still like the trade and I do believe more moves are coming. Probably because he has a wingspan of 6'9". The highlight video I saw of him guarding Kobe was impressive. AJ Price wasn't cutting it so Bird brought in a combo guard to back up the 1 and 2. I like him, glad to see he's back in Indy. His ability to stop dribble penetration is sorely needed. Will help keep Hibbert out of foul trouble. Hill, along with Paul George lets the backcourt match up much better with Chicago and Miami. Where this team goes from here all depends on what Bird does with the frontcourt. Still a lot of work to be done.
