    I believe I read someone say that Niemi has been good against protecting his 5-hole before this series, but he's getting beat repeatedly that way now, it seems. And a PP now that it matters little (most likely). And screw YOU, Leighton!! Dammit.

    How the Flyers haven't scored 20 goals tonight is beyond me. I mean, [expletive] me!, our shot clearing has been unbelieveably [expletive]ing horrible tonight!!

    Another PHI penalty missed by the refs. That's unusual! And of course, Leighton is playing completely out of his mind at all the wrong times (for CHI).

    Our defense tonight is just BEGGING the Flyers to score at will. Can't clear, and if do, its right at a charging PHI player.

    We're only down 2. Score 2 and force OT. I'm planning ahead. I figure PHI's got at least one more PP attempt coming, and want to factor another goal in (no matter how its scored), so we'd need to score 4 to win. Need to avoid OT if at all possible - unless we score just before the end of regulation to force OT.

    Not that I'm condoning or applauding the Hawks for it, but man... would be hard for me to sit back and watch PHI get away with pretty much murder, and not do anything about it. And of course, retaliation automatically means a CHI penalty. Screwed if they do, and screwed if they don't.

    I know I've missed all the regular season this year, and his previous seasons - and yes he had that rediculously long 'at least 1 point scored, per game, in the playoffs' run... but Toews hasn't shown me anything this series (yet). I know nothing about him, really, so can't or won't label him a 'choker', but boy does he need to really work to start earning the C he wears on his shirt, at least when the lights are on and everyone's watching. And on that matter, Byfuglien is an absolute no-show after pretty much being "the man" at the end of the Canucks' series and all of the WCFs.

    Welp, unless we got 4 goals in reserve that CHI's waiting to unload in this last period, itsagonna be 2-2 before the start of Sunday night's game at the MoM.

    Why is that EVERY time that Kane and Pronger come together, Kane comes away minus his helmet?

    Is this the Chicago BlackHAWKS, or the Chicago BlackSOX?? I swear; some of the whiffs, some of the defensive breakdowns, some of the mental breakdowns.... just kinda gives that little sliver doubt. :doh:

    Thank God the PKs in the last 2 PP chances for PHI was great, cause it'd be real ugly right now. And screw not [expletive] [expletive] about the reffing either. Even if it were a small slash by Sharp on Pronger, which it wasn't of course, then its absolutely nothing Pronger himself hasn't done all series, even after whistles to stop play.

    Can't handle a puck to save their lives currently, Flyers taking much advantage of that.

    I'll take back what I said earlier, somewhat. Still need to work harder and take better control of the puck, but we are throwing alot of shots at the goal tonight. Can't score if you don't make attempts.

    Its amazing all the shots PHI is taking after whistles, but absolutely no action taken to curb it by the refs. Just an observation.

    Well, if nothing else, the Hawks have done a wonderful job on this PK.
