Davis; Keep throwing intentionally bad pitches, you get horrible swings and weak grounders. Throw it down the middle of the plate, and you get "bat stuck on shoulder" syndrome. You can't lose!

Its a good thing the Cubs game will start on TNT tonight, until the finish of the NYY/CLE game, cause it took 45 minutes to play 1 inning in Cleveland!!

I obviously want the Rocks to win so we'd get HFA next series (should we advance), but man... the way they're playing right now, HFA could matter very little. -
Why do I get the feeling that tonight's umps K-zone will not only be inconsistent, but will more often than not give Davis "on the black" calls on the outside corner, that will in all actuality be OFF the black.

As stated earlier, Lilly is 9-1 following a Cubs loss this year. If Hill gets any sort of offensive support, we can take G3. Would set up another Webb vs Z, in Wrigley on Sunday. Gotta look at things positively... but man its hard after not taking advantage of the opportunities we had to win tonight.

Yes, you can expect to lose a game before it occurs, but can anyone really say they felt it would be ok to lose because we're "supposed to" when seeing Z dealing and we tie it up vs Webb finally?? I sure as heck wasn't. We had chances to win tonight, and didn't. Not saying we won't win tomorrow and sweep this weekend to win 3-1 still, but we let a HUGE opportunity go by the boards tonight. Just hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Things I REALLY hated tonight; - White pom-poms/towels - Fans that need a scoreboard to tell them how to act - Stephen Freaking Drew! - That we had numerous opportunities to win tonight, offensively, and only capitalized (minimally) once - That Carlos MarMOLE sucked - and then was good after the damage was done - tonight - That Carlos Zambrano got a no-decision tonight, after his performance - That we let AZ and Webb off the hook!!! - That IDIOT guy wearing Cubs stuff and flashing that neon Cubs sign in the 9th - Rejects with the "1908" balloons/whatever-thingies, on their necks - Dumbass "Cub fan" who had the Bartman sign those are just a few......
