    Even if you didn't just jinx him into giving up 5 runs next inning, the Cubs offense can do nothing, so it matters extremely little how good Lilly is and will be since that LO HR to Weaks.

    I know its not on the listed games, but anyone else watching the Royals/Tigers on MLB EI FreeView, on DirecTV, waiting for the Cubs game to start? Anyways, I was watching on FSN KC- via MLB EI (ch 722-1) - because it was HD [and FSN Detroit wasn't], but all of a sudden it switched to boxing on SUN; WTH?! So I turned it to FSN Detroit - via MLB EI (723-1) - to continue watching, and now its in HD instead of letterboxed SD. :scratch: Its HD, so I'm not gonna raise heck, but just wondering what the heck is up with that.

    I'm not the manager, so complaining does me very little good, but Theriot leading off seems about as smart as drinking a bottle of ExLax and then just putting on a pair of adult diapers to handle the outcome - and then wearing said diapers all day long afterwards.

    Look at this way, KFuk is on pace for something like a '1.000 BA (~648 ABs), ~162 HRs, ~486 hits, ~486 RBIs, ~162 BBs, and ~162 Runs scored' season. :blink:

    "The Riot" may have been all cool and all for a while... but umm, Theriot is not doing much for me since about the 3/4 mark of last season or so.

    Well, thanks to the light fog, it renders the HD pretty much useless. So its great to be watching on WGN!

    I don't know, but if they're answer is "not enough space", they are lying out of their arses. If I could get WGNHD, my HD sporting needs would be pretty much 100% fulfilled by DirecTV. (& adding ESPNewsHD, ESPN ClassicHD, and actual HD content on CBSCHD would make me happy as a clam)

    SOBs. Blacked out on ESPN2. So, call me a traitor, but I'm watching this one on FSN Wisconsin (if and whenever it gets underway [they just said trying for a 2:30 start, or at least re-evaluating things at that time - although the grounds crew was just getting ready to work with the tarp as they just went to commercial]). I'll greatly miss Len and Bob, and the all-Cubs perspective, but the HD aspect almost always wins out.

    i'll be flipping back and forth from ESPN2 to WGN, if only because i'll get the game in HD on ESPN2 Not that it effects you but I believe the ESPN2 broadcast is blacked out in chicago. At least someone mentioned that today when I was at wrigley. They could have been wrong. Hopefully ditto on just the first part :beg: , but probly ditto on both counts :( , since here in eastern Iowa, I am considered in the "DMA" of both the Cubs and Brewers - not to mention the Cardinals, White Sox, Twins, and [i think] Royals as well.

    in all 4 DS, one team is 0-2; or 2-0, depending on your point of view. So it wasn't just the Cubs to fall in a big hole right away. Yankees getting swept was part of my "fantasy" predictions, so that could very much become a reality, although the Indians will have to play one of their best games of the year Sunday to make it happen.
