I'm fine with this, since we miss Jurrjens this go-around... and there's, in theory, only a 1 in 5 chance we'd run into him on the makeup date. And just looking at their schedule, it looks as though he'd pitch the final game of the Boston series.
It surely will not start on time. I'd think a substantial delay is in order. However, since the Cubs are not scheduled to visit Atlanta again this season, I'd assume that every effort will be made to get this game in.
The NHL and NBC want this series to end now so they can start the finals on Saturday. Thus we won't get any calls tonight. The Finals date has already been set. Correct -- They start next Friday, June 5th -- regardless!
Salo's out again tonight. http://www.team1040.ca/news/story/?id=2012 Demitra's out for the series. http://www.news1130.com/news/local/more.jsp?content=20090506_183755_820
That would be a quick smoke break considering there's no place to go inside the park - he'd have to go all the way downstairs, outside, then all the way back up.
I actually think Pat had the one inning off clause worked into his contract. It used to be only a half inning, but when Pat signed his most recent contract, he wanted a full inning off. I might be wrong, but that's honestly what I think I remember having heard.
Wouldn't mind seeing that Howry guy in at some point :D You know he'll come in an own us. I'll still take my chances with his 1.92 WHIP (Although he's been better on the road with a 1.91 WHIP)
She couldn't carry a tune with a bushel basket. And it appears she's quite the nutcase -- I was rather unaware of her past. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Richards
According the the Vancouver Sun, looks like a Thursday start to this series. Looks like 8pm Chicago Time faceoffs for games 1 and 2. http://www.vancouversun.com/Sports/Canucks+expected+open+Thursday+against+Blackhawks/1542817/story.html
