    Yeah, it probably should have. But what exactly would that ultimately accomplish? I've never seen a win taken away from a team. What does not playing under protest accomplish? Our bullpen is frakked either way, but at least that way we get to give blue the finger.

    according to BA: 3/4 delivery Low 90's fastball (90-92) with good sink Slurvy breaking ball (has trouble staying "on top") Unreliable changeup Reportedly has poor command, but his K/BB numbers have improved every year. He misses a lot of bats. I've never seen him play, so all this is just based on what I've read.

Not stepping on a team's throat when you have the chance is a bad idea. No, that's not the point. The point is you're bitching when we're up two runs. I'd hate to go to a game with a person like you.     I think the "closest high schooler to the majors" makes it in 4 years or less - unless he has injury problems. The Cubs org has no problem with fast tracking and promoting players quickly. His bat isn't worth much less as a corner OF. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defensive_spectrum

    That's a huge red flag for me. The guy isn't going to learn plate discipline with the Cubs, and he isn't going to handle those pitches against pros. If we have another 4:1 K:BB guy on our hands, he won't help at all. its a real red flag when a prospect is compared to vlad guerrero.... He's also been compared to Chipper Jones.

    Nope. I'm pinch hitting for him and then bringing in Dempster. I agree. Let's not pull a Dusty just b/c we "feel he has it in him." Pitch count aside, this has been about as stress free as a game can get. I think Hill can do it. I know he can do it, but I'm gunshy considering the club's luck with arm troubles.
