I know you're trying to defend Rich, but he's been pretty mediocre for some time now. true, 10th best WHIP among major league starters is just not getting it done Lately. I know his numbers are still excellent overall and will probably go back to being excellent. But he's been very human over the past month and a half.

Yep. I wanted Meche badly. I wanted him over Lilly, and certainly over Marquis. I think we'd be quite a bit better if Meche was in the rotation instead of Lilly or Marquis (especially Marquis). I mean, we almost got Meche and Lilly. That would've been nice.
