    I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that the Yankees would want to unload one of their high prices starting pitchers as well. They'd probably be willing to shed Mussina's contract for the right price. This is probably a pie in the sky deal, but if they want Hill or Marshall for Posada, maybe we could throw in a little more and get Mussina as well.

    It's going to be tough to make a good deal this year. If we can't get Dunn or Griffey for a reasonable price, I'm not sure there's anyone out there worth having. There's certainly not gonna be another Nomar deal this year. I'm not even sure there's going to be another Matt Lawton.

If he came at reasonable cost in talent, I think he'd be terrific. He's having a down year, so the Yankees may sell low. His contract isn't good at all, but it's still an interesting possibility. Soriano Abreu Lee Ramirez Can't beat that 1-4.
