    I think Byrd has played better than his numbers show, I really do. What, OBP-wise? How? I'm not slamming the guy for it per se; more pointing out how ridiculous it is for him to be leading off. More BA wise than OBP wise. He hasn't displayed much patience, but his BA seems like it should be higher because he's hit so many balls hard. Granted, that increases his OBP, but that's not really what I was going for.

    A win would go a long way towards continuing to raise my hopes about this team. I'm not really expecting the playoffs, but an 85+ win season would certainly be entertaining at least.

    Gotta give Theriot some credit. Sure it would have gone foul but it was a very good bunt and although he shouldn't have gotten a hit out of it, it would have brought in the go-ahead run. If it would've gone foul is it really a good bunt?
