  1. Haha I turned this on for some reason. No idea why.
  2. 'hopefully' is the key word there. ...and the Cubs drop this one, 40-36.
  3. I'm as diehard of a Cubs fan as there is, it doesn't make me an "untrue fan" that I'm far too stressed out by these games to keep watching. I need a break so I'm going to take one.
  4. ...then I give up on the Cubs forever and stop watching baseball. That'd be enough proof for me that the Cubs will never win.
  5. Complete apathy. Won't watch a second of it.
  6. I went to the game for some reason. I've reached the point of apathy. I've got tickets for a few more games, but I don't anticipate using any of them.
  7. I've got tickets to the game and I just don't have the desire to go right now.
  8. Just got in... that pitch looked exactly the same as the last one.
  9. I'll be at the game Wednesday, unless they lose in heartbreaking fashion Tuesday.
  10. I love how he quickly dismisses all anti Fontenot argument despite the fact that, since his initial hot streak, Fontenot has played like someone who doesn't belong on a big league roster (yes, even as a bench player LLF).
  11. What about that other guys numbers, can you afford those numbers? Theriots satayed in th high270s/low 280s. not bad Derosa fluctuates between the high/mid 280s. not bad Jones has jumoped from the low 220s to the high 260s since the AS break. Kendalls hitting .303 since joining the Cubs. Ill take it. Thats pretty affordable. Lees plumeting a bit, and he does need to step up with RISP though. Hes basically in the same position as A Ram was last season, as the star of the team, but he cant get the jon done. He was talking about Fontenot.
  12. I swear, sometimes I think I'm on cubs.com
  13. We get it.
  14. Harsh tone, but pretty much true.
  15. When I said that the bullpen was going to shut us out the rest of the way I didn't actually think it would happen.
  16. I've muted the Cubs game and focused my attention on the Brewers.
  17. Kendall is not capable of throwing out baserunners.
